BIOGRAPHY

Self-Shooting Director, specialising in character-led observational documentaries.

Fluent in French, Italian & Spanish, with a body of film and photography work shot across six continents in often challenging environments - from jungle canopies with treehouse-dwelling Papuans, to interviews with former heads of organised crime syndicates.

Broadly interested in human and environmental rights, visual anthropology, pioneering science & technology, amplifying unheard voices, and committed to telling stories which interrogate the complexity and absurdity of life.

Driven by genuine curiosity and drawn to breaking new ground (feature docs, pilots, new series, breaking news), as well as experimenting with form, visual storytelling and creative narrative devices. Previous clients include SKY Docs, BBC, Channel 4, VICE, Al Jazeera

COMPANY

After a decade working in the film industry (New Line Cinema, Paramount Pictures & The British Independent Film Awards) a desire to experiment led to the establishment of Planet Caravan Productions - an independent film company creating short docs, video art, branded content and music videos.
